Bishop Wisdom Irabor, the Presiding Bishop Of Answers Assembly in a recent post on Facebook, sends an important message to Christians on how they should treat their pastors.
He said that the Pastor you are close to that you take for granted, you will one day lose, and find yourself in the hands of the one that you can’t access no matter how hard you try. So you have to value Pastors who have listening ears, for they are the real shepherds.
Further, he said that they all can package themselves with Police officers and heavy protocols and ensure they clear you before you see them but they are always constrained by love to make access to them very easy for all. So you have to be careful not to abuse such privileges. “But the black man only values what comes with a painful search,” he said.
However, it is important that we value the privilege given to us by our pastors. They have made themselves available and we should not take it for granted. God will help us in Jesus’ name.
