According to Pastor Damina, he said the teaching of Jesus in Luke 9:50-55 where Jesus said ‘ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of’ means his spirit is different from the spirit of Elijah and what operates in Elijah to kill people with fire is not Jesus’s spirit but something else.
He said with all the killings in the old testament, God knows nothing about it, he explained that the killings of the firstborn in Egypt is not God, is something else and what destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah is not God but something else.
He noted that God is not a killer but a life-giver. He recalled what happened some time ago when he made that statement and somebody was angry with him and said, don’t you know, our God is a consuming fire. Pastor Damina said he asked him if God had consumed him before.
