PHOTOS: Adeboye Reacts As 87-Year-Old woman becomes RCCG’s Bible College Oldest graduand in 42 years

Ojie Mabel Iwegbundu, a 87-year-old woman, has bagged postgraduate diploma in theology from the Redeemed Christian Bible College (RCBC).

Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), announced the feat in a post via his Twitter page on Monday.

In the post, the cleric said the development makes the octogenarian the oldest graduating student from the college in its 42-year-old history.

Adeboye added that Iwegbundu’s graduation is a demonstration of the RCBC’s inclusive learning approach which cuts across diverse age groups.

“In the 42 years existence of RCBC, we had the oldest graduating student ever in attendance. The octogenarian is mummy Ojie Mabel Iwegbundu,”

he wrote:

“She is an 87 year old grandmother who was admitted & successfully completed her studies leading to the award of postgraduate diploma in theology today from Faith Campus Zone, Ejigbo, Lagos State.

“It is such a wonderful delight that RCBC programs have a broad spectrum appeal to diverse age groups.”
