Topic: The Power of Inspiration
Text: Mark 10:46-52

Man is created in the image of God.
God is in Trinity (God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Spirit).
So man is a spirit, living in a body and with a soul.
Man has Physical ears, ears of Understanding and Spiritual eyes.
Man also has Physical eyes, eyes of Understanding and Spiritual eyes.
When Bartimaeus heard about Jesus passing with his physical ears, he also heard with his Spiritual ears he heard from God that his day had come.
He heard from God;
You don’t have to die in darkness, This is your opportunity, don’t miss, You better use what you heard, to get what you need.

That voice from God that only you can hear is what is called INSPIRATION. Job 32:8. Something you hear from God at a certain time is called INSPIRATION. Isaiah 30:31.
Thousands of people could be in a place and Somebody will hear just one thing and that settles it.

The voice of Inspiration tells you:

1. That this is not the best you can be. 2Kings 4:8-17. Yes, you are great but you are not yet complete.
2. You can do something about it. 2Kings 7:1-9. You can do something about where you are now to make things better.

The subtotal of what the voice of Inspiration tells you is; Your best is yet to come. John 2:1-11
God reserves the best till the last.

Three Prayers:

Joshua 10:12-14. Joshua asked the Sun not to set and told the Moon not to move from where it was.
Prayer 1: You will ask God to inspire you, to ask for what nobody has asked before.

Acts 19:11-12. God performed special Miracles from the hand of Paul. Special Miracles are special interventions in the affairs of Men.
Prayer 2: Father, I want you to transform me from being ordinary to extraordinary.

Matthew 14:23-33. Peter was the only one that an inspiration. Before he began to sink, He already walked on water. Something nobody had done before. He made history.
Prayer 3: God inspire me to be a history maker!

You might say God has spoken to you but that’s not true! God is speaking, you’re just not hearing. John 6:44. No one can come to God unless He draws you.
He is speaking to you now to come unto Him
Come to Jesus for Salvation.
