Bishop Benson Idahosa is regarded as the father of Pentecostals in Nigeria because he was one of the Founding fathers of early Pentecostal churches in Nigeria.

Bishop Benson while alive was the General Overseer of Church of God Mission worldwide. He is also the founder of Benson Idahosa University, Benin City Edo State. 

He was married to Mrs Margaret Idahosa with whom he had four children, three girls and a boy.

Bishop Idahosa Only Son is Bishop Faith Emmanuel Benson Idahosa. Bishop Faith had his tertiary Education in the US, where he obtained a B.Sc Degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration.

He went further for also Masters Degree in Public Health in United State.

Bishop Faith is the president of the Benson Idahosa University and he also head almost all organisation under the Idahosa’s University such as Big Ben’s children hospital’s, miediplex group of hospital’s and others.

Bishop Faith is also a gifted author as he has five published to his name.

He is married to Reverend Laurie Whestone Idahosa, God bless the family with three beautiful kids whose name are Faith Jr, Nathan and Judah.
