Enoch Adejare Adeboye, founder and the general overseer of the Redeem Christians Church of God (RCCG), has met Faith Odunsi, a 15-year-old genius who emerged the winner of the Global Open Mathematics Tournament.
The respected Nigerian pastor, 79, met with the teen schoolgirl on Friday, May 7, with her parents during the Pastors’ Seed Family Session 2021 at RCCG headquarters in Lagos state.
Adeboye, a maths genius holds a position as Professor of Mathematics at the University of Lagos. He bagged his degree in Mathematics from the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in 1967.
The RCCG general overseer encouraged Odunsi and prayed for her before taking pictures with the family of the global maths champion.

The backstory
Nobelie reported earlier that Odunsi, an SS3 student from the Ijebu area of Ogun state beat participants from Europe, Africa, America, Asia and Australia to become a global maths champion.
Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun state, announced an endowment fund worth N5 million for the 15-year-old genius.
The governor made this disclosure on Thursday, April 22, while also presenting a 2-bedroom bungalow and N2 million cash prize to the University of Lagos State (LASU) best graduating student Oladimeji Shotunde.
