The welcome home celebration in memory of Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe, who was recently released from the KiriKiri correctional centre in Lagos, was captured on camera by Genesis Global.
Prophet Isreal Oladele Ogundipe, the presiding shepherd of Genesis Global celestial church, was sentenced to two years in prison for allegedly defrauding a London-based resident.
During his time in prison, he helped 82 wrongfully imprisoned prisoners recover their freedom and founded a liberty chapel at the correctional facility.
On the church’s social media page, images of his members welcoming him back to church were uploaded, announcing the prophet’s release.
For the first time in 5 months after his arrest, the prophet returned to church on Sunday and praised the Lord. In his first service since his freedom, members filled with joy joined the prophet to praise the Lord’s name.
