The beautiful and amazing part was that his wife even delivered the baby in his absence and you know how emotional that can be. As you know, you cannot prepare yourself for some certain emotions, some events will take place and you will just react in a way that you never planned, an example of that kind of emotion is when you have a new child. This is also something that you cannot master, the way you react when you have your first child will be different from your reaction when you have your second child. How you will react when you have one child may be different from your reaction when you have twins or more.

The 10th of November in the year 2018 was when Damilola Mike-Bamiloye married his woman Emmanuela, to the glory of God, they now have a child who is named Gloria. The beautiful part of the child’s name is that she is named after Damilola’s mum who is also a popular drama minister. Another twist to it is that Gloria Bamiloye was the one who broke the goodnews of the birth of Gloria Mike-Bamiloye to Damilola Mike-Bamiloye. The goodnews as I said was in his absence as he was shooting the movie Train in Osun state.

Damilola lives in Ibadan and the expected due date was supposed to be after he scheduled the shoot of the movie but while they were shooting, he got a call from his wife that the doctor wanted to see her. He just found out that he was unable to get through to her again but he just took his mind that whatever it is, God will take care of his business because he was taking care of God’s business in Osun state.

As he explained during the ‘making of the movie Train’, it was apparently after shooting the scene where the ladies were making fun of Bro Mike proposing to different women. His brother Jay Mikee called him aside and gave him the phone. He heard his mom say “you are now a father”.

He said he was just laughing like a mad man when he heard the news, he said it was as if he was tickled spiritually. He kept telling his mum to put the phone near his daughter because he wanted to hear her voice and anytime he heard her laugh, he would burst into laughter again.
