Pope Francis Talks About Legalising Gay Laws.See What He Said

After the President of the United States of America have orders to all United States Ambassadors to push through and legalise gay rights in their host countries, there have been lots of controversies and confusion from people.

Many Nigerians have started to discuss whether this would also be legalised in Nigeria or not. While some said it should be legalised so that Nigeria doesn’t lose some benefits from the United States, some said it’s a sin and shouldn’t be legalised in the country.

Today, we’ll be looking at what Pope Francis said about legalising Gay law or not.

It has been observed that many Christians have been at the helm of criticism, saying that legalising it is a sin. Unlike many other people’s opinion, Pope Francis has said that same-sex couples should not be discriminated but they should be allowed to also have civil unions.

He added that these people have the right to be in a family, just like every other people. He said that homosexual people are also children of God and should be treated as one.

In the film premiered as part of Rome Film Festival, Pope Francis was seen to be urging 2 gay men to attend church with their 3 children. He showed support for the same-sex couples and said that he stands for them.

He also asked a question that who is he to judge a gay if such gay seeks God and has good will? His continuous support for homosexuals has made lots of people amazed. In summary, below is what Pope Francis said about gay laws.

However, let’s take note that not legalising it might cost Nigeria to lose some benefits which are supposed to be from the United States, e.g the U.S Aids, Foreign Aid Donations, importations from the United States e.tc.
