Power of the word

POWER OF THE WORD (TONGUE)

The tongue is the smallest but the most powerful  among the members of the body.

There’s this friend of mine that calls me excellent(not my name actually),  I once taught  in a school named excellent; so he  calls me by that name. He has been calling me that name for a while but I don’t talk or react.

One evening, he called me excellent(as usual), immediately I replied sharply I’m not excellent… Naso my Spirit man ask me; Are you not excellent in the real sense? I was speechless within.

Kai… my brain set sharp sharp. I turned to him and revoke that statement immediately.

Why am I saying this?

What we profess to ourselves  matters a lot. It can either make or mar you.

The Holy Spirit taught me something I can never forget in a hurry that evening.

Let’s be very mindful of the words we say to ourselves and others.  Let’s be mindful of the way we use our tongue.

Instead of speaking negative, say positive things, profess good things to yourself and others. Our words goes a long way, be mindful. Bridle your tongue, teach it to say positive words.

Always remember, your words can either make or mar you.
