Prominent Pastor’s Wives who were told they could not bear Children But later conceived

When Jesus says yes nobody can say no,it has always been like that from the dawn of time. It is written in the bible that if you believe in him nothing is impossible for him to do, and that has always been the principles these pastor’s wives portrayed which has favoured them over the years. There are many people who were told that the possibility of having a child was 0%, they didn’t lose hope but instead lean on God for divine intervention. These pastor’s wives were victims of such situations as well, they put the devil to shame by giving birth to more than one children and are happy to share the testimonies. (1) Archbishop Margaret Idahosa:

Archbishop Margaret Idahosa is the long wife of Benson Idahosa who passed away in the year 1999, ever since then God has been using her to continue the work her husband left behind. The miracles that has happened in her life are numerous and uncountable, one of which was when God delivered her from childlessness during the 90s.

Archbishop Margaret Idahosa was told by a doctor that she will not be able to carry a child in the nearest future because her womb was tilted. This caused pain in her heart and that of her husband then, but they never gave up but instead Benson Idahosa said “if I be a man of God, God will give us children.”

After five years of barrenness, archbishop Margaret said she received a prophesy from American preacher Gordon Lindsay when he visited Nigeria and he told her to her face that she would bare children. After a year she became pregnant and gave birth to her first child thereby putting the enemy to shame, today she is a proud mother of 7 children.

(2) Pastor Folu Adeboye:

This might be a surprise to many but according to Pastor E. A Adeboye and his Wife Folu Adeboye, they gave birth to their first four children by caesarian operation (this involves the birth of a new born through an incision in the mother’s abdomen) and during that time they were not yet born again christians. After they’ve fully gave their live to christ, pastor E. A Adeboye said to his wife that there were going to have another child but with God intervention.

Doctors gave warning of the implications it would cost Folu Adeboye if she tried getting pregnant the normal way because she has already been operated on several times, the end result may lead to the loss of her life and that of the baby. Despite all that pastor E. A Adeboye remember word in the scripture luck 1:37 which says “for with God nothing shall be impossible.”

Glory be to God and the devil was put to shame when she delivered successfully. Not only did she deliver once but twice and the babies were big and healthy, this only proves that God is faithful to his servants.
