Reactions as Nigerian Clergyman directs church members to kill and destroy houses of alleged witches in town

In Adamawa State, fires have destroyed homes and crops valued at over N200 million, allegedly at the behest of Christian preacher Emmanuel Nachamada Musa.

The cleric, who is the President of the charity organization Emnamu Foundation, allegedly incited his congregation to kill and burn down the homes of their perceived enemies and witches during a crusade last week in Kala’a town in the Hong Local Government of the state, as reported by SaharaReporters.

During the crusade, some youths allegedly went to the homes of people who had been named as enemies of the preacher and accused them of witchcraft before setting them on fire.

According to the information gathered by SaharaReporters, no lives were lost, but at least three homes and a number of businesses and vehicles were destroyed.

The preacher can be heard in a viral video encouraging the youth to assault his enemies and teach them a painful lesson.
