Bishop David Oyedepo has revealed what can cause someone to enter abject poverty. He made this revelation during the Leadership Empowerment Summit today, where gave some certain commandments God wants every believer to obey.
One of the commandments he gave was the commandment of financial stewardship. He explained that financial stewardship is using your God given financial resources to serve the interest of the kingdom of God.
“In case you did not know, you came into this world naked. Every thing you claim to have was given to you by God,” he said.
If you have this mentality, serving God by giving your money will not seem strange or foreign to you.
He explained that refusing to serve God with the money that he has given you can lead a man into abject poverty, or even the death of the man at worst.
