Financial stability is crucial for everyone. Regardless of how clever or intelligent you may be, if you are poor, others may not take you or your thoughts seriously. It’s possible that you’re not having the desired effect on your community or civilization. In a video posted on his official Facebook page, Salvation Ministry’s Pastor David Ibiyeomie emphasized that poverty would render you irrelevant.
In addition, the cleric gave examples showing how, regardless of how wise a man may be, if he is not wealthy, people will not take him seriously. During family or society gatherings, no matter how significant or intelligent his suggestions might be, he would not be taken seriously, and his suggestions would be pushed aside to make place for those who are powerful or wealthy.
“You have to be wealthy,” the cleric said. The society in which we currently live places a higher priority on wealth than it does on poverty. It is crucial to succeed in life because modern society occasionally does not regard a poor person as deserving of respect.
