“Religion Is The Chief Reason For Our Retardation” And it Has Affected Us Negatively – Dele Farotimi

A public figure and author of ” DoNotDieinTheirwar,” Dele Farotimi has said religion is the chief reason for man’s retardation.

He made this comment via his official Instagram story, claiming that he is a Christian by religion but wouldn’t hesitate to criminalize religion in public space if given the opportunity.

He said that he respects other people religion but wouldn’t hesitate to criminalize religion if given the opportunity to do so.

” I am a Christian, I respect other religions, and I am as just cool with atheist and the agnostic. But given the opportunity to criminalize religion in the public spaces, I wouldn’t hesitate. Religion is the chief reason for our retardation.” Farotimi wrote on his Instagram page.

Meanwhile, in one of the recent tweets of Farotimi, he claimed that religion took its root from Latin word ‘religare’ – which literally means to blind. He said, the true meaning comes alive in Nigeria.
