The Royal Wedding of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s daughter and her Ghanaian groom, Philip Frimpong held in 2018, and it was the most elegant affair, a true celebration of a divinely orchestrated union.
You will recall that Sharon Oyakhilome, UK based gospel artist and daughter of popular preacher, pastor Chris Oyakhilome got engaged to Phillip in 2017.
The beautiful couple has now graciously shared their story of divine connection with the world in this touching and exclusive interview.
Phillip: I wanted and had always declared for a woman that will be useful to the things of God and following in God’s plan and purpose for my life and that is exactly who Sharon is. I wanted someone who will be able to listen to God because if she can listen to God, she will be able to listen to God in our marriage also and as regarding our family and Sharon always listens.
Sharon: I wanted to marry someone who trusted God completely and will be an amazing leader cos obviously, he has to be able to lead me rightly and Phil is just that!
Phillip: I met Sharon in Christ Embassy in the UK in 2013 when Pastor Chris was ministering on a higher life conference. She was walking past me and then I greeted her.
Sharon: He approached me after I had completed the process of serving and he asked me inquiries, about something I served on and that was it, we started talking as far as possible and built up a natural excellent relationship. He has been my closest companion from that point forward. I am so appreciative for having him in my life, on the grounds that multiple occasions I wonder, how my life would have turned out without him. He is a Man with many astounding characteristics and I love him not really good or bad to such an extent. He is simply so exceptional.
Phillip: From the first occasion when I met Sharon, where it counts inside, I realized I will be her better half and that we will spend the remainder of our carries on with together… simply the idea of her, make my day, I love her so much and We are going to show the world and set a norm and motivate others not by words however by activity that it is conceivable to have a delightful marriage and that it is so wonderful to have God in a marriage.
