The former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has slammed pastors who said when you pay tithes, you will get divine protection. The outspoken political activist said if your pastor told that by paying tithe you will get divine protection. Then such a pastor goes out with armed security.
He added, the pastor is either not paying tithe or he does not believe in the message he preached to you. However, Omokri did not believe that divine protection comes by paying tithe but by faith.
Reno Omokri made this known via his verified Twitter handle stating that “divine protection comes by faith, not by tithe”. Omokri was a former presidential aide to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
A pastor tells you that by paying tithe, you have divine protection. Then that same pastor goes out with armed security protecting him. It is either he does not pay his tithe, or he does not believe what he told you. Divine protection comes by faith, not by tithe!
