In marriage and the creating of a family, should money, bills, who owns this and that, who has more money and assets be the focus? Where do we keep love, trust, humility and the rest of the attributes that makes a perfect home? Well, it may amaze to know that Reno Omokri do not count that necessary.
Reno Omokri has taken to his Twitter handle to warn men against marrying ladies who only bring about intercourse in marriage, ladies who do not take plan to take care of any of the bills in the house, all they care and want to being into the marriage is intercourse.
In speaking against marrying such ladies, Reno Omokri made mention of the Bible passage that speaks against being equally yoked. He didn’t explain how it concerns marrying a lady who has no plans to pay bills in the marriage, but here’s the passages and what it states;
“2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”
According to the Bible passage Reno Omokri used, righteousness should not associate with unrighteousness, and darkness should have no communion with light. How does this explain the fact that the last has nothing monetarily to offer in the marriage?
Here is the tweet Reno Omokri shared, advising men against marrying women who cannot being any monetary value in the marriage, he said;
“Dear men, before marrying a girl, write all you bring to the table and all she brings to the table. If your column includes things like money, paying bills, buying phones, etc, and hers is just intercourse, remember 2 Corinthians 6:14 “Do not be unequally yoked.
