Reverend Father Ejike Camillus Anthony Mbaka, a Catholic priest and Spiritual Leader of Adoration Ministry in Enugu said the Catholic church is loosing members. He also revealed the reason behind that. This was disclosed in a Facebook post by a popular handle yesterday.
According to Rev. Fr. Mbaka from the video: One of our members died in an accident with his wife but the church refused to burial the couple. The said the family should pay their debts first before the church can come in. Do you expect such person to remain in the church?
We need to abolish such practice in the Catholic church because we are loosing members on a daily basis. As a Reverend Father, the members of the Catholic church address me as ‘Father’, meaning they are my sons. Why can’t we treat them like our sons?
No one is perfect in this life but we only strive to be perfect. The Bible said we should rejoice with those who are rejoicing, and cry with those who are crying. The world has changed and some rules need to be looked into.
