Romance Is One Of The Greatest Facilitators Of Success In Marriage – Bishop David Ibiyeomie reveals

The Nigerian Televangelist and General Overseer of Salvation International Ministry, Bishop David Ibiyeomie has revealed the importance of romance in marriage.

The clergyman said lack of romance is responsible for most of the problems couple faced in marriage. “Romance is one of the greatest facilitators of marriage success, and this is where many people run into problems. When a home lacks romance, it suffers disintegration and it’s one of the reasons why God set up marriage. I’m going to show you something from the Bible that will shock you. In 1Corinthians7v2, it is written that, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife and let every woman have her own husband, and let the couple defraud ye not one another, except it be with consent to fasting and prayer, and come together again so that Satan will not tempt you for your inconsistency. Sexual drives are strong, but marriage is strong enough to contain them and provide for a balanced and fulfilling sexual life in a word of sexual disorder,” Bishop Ibiyeomie said.

He said one of the secrets to successful marriage is when couple commit to please and serve each other. “The pastors of one of the biggest Pentecostal Churches in the world right now, asked me to come and speak to their wives. I asked them why, because I knew they have big names in their Church. Unknown to the pastors, the cause of their marital crisis is the lack of romance in their marriage. The Bible said, husbands should seek to satisfy their wives. As a wife, If your husband doesn’t know how to satisfy you, teach him. It is not a sin. There are Christian books today that teaches you how to achieve that. Go to a Christian book store and buy them. Marriage is not a place to stand up for your right. Marriage is a decision to serve each other, even in bed. Abstaining from sex is permissible for a period of time, if both of you agree to it, only for the purpose of prayer and fasting,” Bishop Ibiyeomie said.
