Osinachi Joseph also known as Sinach is a Nigerian Gospel Singer and senior worshiper at Believers Loveworld. She has made several hit singles in her career including ‘I know who I am’ ‘Waymaker’ ‘Awesome God’ ‘Precious Jesus’ ‘The Name of Jesus’ among all other hit songs.
Sinach is from Ebonyi state. Sinach stated that she started singing for Family and friends in 1989 as a hobby, while working as a church staff and Choir Member in Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakilome’s Church.
Growing up, Sinach stated that when she was a child she had dreams, where she saw herself singing to Large crowds, she did not pursue anything musically besides working in the church and being a choir member.
She had written many songs before she even released her first musical album in 2008. Her first album was titled Chapter one. One of the songs from the album, ‘This is your season’ won the song of the year award in 2008. After her first album, she has released 8 other successful albums
She has received numerous awards for her songs and her albums. The video to her song ‘Waymaker is the 3rd Nigerian Video to have garnered 100million views on youtube.
In 2014, Sinach married Mr. Joseph Egbu in her home Church Christ Embassy. On 17 November 2019, at the LIMA awards pastor Chris Oyakhilome announced the birth of Sinach’s first child.
Sinach studied Physics at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
