It was reported yesterday that some unknown Bishops graced the occasion of Kashim Shettima’s unveiling as the Vice President to the APC Presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In reacting to the profile of these Bishops, the Christian Association of Nigeria has responded to this by throwing a challenge at APC to tell Nigerians the profile of this people in that ceremony.
The Special Assistant on the Media and Communication to the President of CAN, Adebayo Oladeji elucidated that the APC is desperate to convince Nigerians that the Christian organization are in support of the Muslim-Muslim ticket.
He challenged them to drop down the names of the Bishops who attended that ceremony. He said, ”Let them name the CAN officials at the programs and their offices. If they could use 2017 photos to claim that some Pastors visited Shettima and lied that Pastor EA Adeboye has endorsed them, they could do anything.”
The CAN who has maintained that they won’t be part and parcel of the Muslim-Muslim ticket is currently angry that the APC has not listened to their advice earlier on.
