Controversial preacher DADDY FREEZE has disagreed with Nigerian televangelist and Spiritual Leader of Shekinah Arena Gospel Ministries, APOSTLE AGOCHUKWU on tithing.
Apostle AGOCHUKWU in a recent post via his Facebook handle had said that Christians should not only give God 10%of their income but should increase it from 10% to any other amount as he said that he( Apostle AGOCHUKWU) gives God 70% of his income. He also went on to say that the prices of commodities have increased in the market due to the current state of the economy so, you should increase what you five to God as well.
However, Apostle AGOCHUKWU’s massage didn’t go well with some people as they were of the opinion that tithing was only stated in the old testament and not in the new testament of the Bible.
One of the many people who were of a different option with Apostle AGOCHUKWU is IFEDAYO OLARINDE AKA DADDY FREEZE. According to Daddy FREEZE, in a post on Facebook handle challenged Apostle Agochukwu to show him a scripture in the new testament were JESUS CHRIST collected tithes and he will pay 100% of his income to God.
If you can show me any scripture where Christ (don’t quote me Malachi or Melchizedek, I specifically said Christ) collected tithes from a church in the New testament or where our first pastors, the apostles and disciples of Jesus collected tithes from believers or a church, I will pay 100% sef.
