Shehu Sani Reacts After FG Limits Religious Gathering To 50 People Because Of Omicron

Shehu Sani, a former Senator from Kaduna central was on his Twitter account to react to the federal government’s decision to limit the gathering of people.

We are in the Christmas and New year celebration period, and as usual there would be a lot of gathering and movement of people from one location to another. Also Nigeria is witnessing an increase in the number of new Corona virus cases, in order to reduce the spread of Corona virus the government announced yesterday that religious gathering should be limited to 50% capacity with strict compliance with the Corona virus safety protocols like, using face masks and hand sanitizer. And the gathering of people that is more than 50 should be done outdoors.

The government also advised people to limit the number of visitors they receive this period and avoid unnecessary inter state travel.

In reaction to the news, Shehu Sani took to his Twitter account this morning to say that the federal government has limited the number of religious gathering to 50 people because of Omicron, but we will see how many will be allowed at the gathering of the ruling party convention.
