The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, has revealed to his members that a Christian is not expected to drink alcohol.
In a video on his Facebook page, the man of God said that people can be intoxicated without even drinking alcoholic beverages. He specifically said, “Christians don’t drink alcohol, but there are ideas that can intoxicate people.” He said that ideas of wanting to be above other people can intoxicate.
He further said that the human body system is created in a way that peaceful life gives long life. The man of God said that a hot temper that leads to high blood pressure doesn’t bring any gain to humanity.
Kumuyi further said that whatever a person loves, he will feed it and it will grow. He said, “The love of the world endangers our spiritual lives.” He said these while preaching on ” The Fruit of the Spirit in kingdom citizens.”
