The popular pastor and relationship/marriage counsellor Kingsley Okonkwo has revealed that young newly married couples shouldn’t rush and start giving birth, rather they should enjoy themselves first.
According to one of his videos on Instagram, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo said if you marry young, enjoy yourself, don’t rush to have children, once you have children, your life will never remain the same.
Kingsley said that if you are still very young, like under 30 or at the age of 30 or 31, don’t rush and have kids, as a man knows himself or herself that you will get married, 9 months after a child has come.
He said that it eats many marriages up because you may not even know your husband or your wife because the child has arrived, and children don’t give a chance to anybody.
He said the child would pull the woman’s body and her attention, while he would pull the man’s money. At night the couple won’t sleep or have some fun, so the baby would be stressing the couple out.
He added that as counsellors they find out that there is a time where marriages break or at least take a downward turn that leads it to break, and having children without planning is one of those times.
