Reverend Funke Adejumo is the wife of Bishop Felix Adejumo who is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Agape Christian Ministries Inc. She sent an important message to the men in their church on the need to be grateful.
She revealed that some ladies think that their marriage is the toughest because they have not listened to other people’s stories. “That your husband that you think is a devil is somebody’s Christmas dream,” she said. She said that there is no husband that is perfect and she has been married for 35 years. Sometimes you wake up and just wonder how you are still married despite what happened a day before. She said that marriage is tough, it is hard work. Every woman is the same, it is only the packaging that differs, so package your own and stop complaining.
“As a man, when last did you wake your wife up in the middle of the night to thank her for everything she has done for you,” she said. They have done a lot for you and you need to thank her. She said that there is no human language that can explain the pain that women pass through during pregnancy and in delivery. She said that she was once watching CNN and they said that the most beautiful word in the dictionary is the word “mother.” She advised them to appreciate their wives once in a while.
She then revealed that some men are full of commendation outside and condemnation inside. She said that they don’t need to shout at their wives when the food is too salty. “The home will be better if you are generous with money, the way you are generous with salt,” she said. She then advised them to be grateful.
