The General Overseer of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo in his recent ministration said you should always pray a prayer of inquiry before embracing any opportunity because is not all open doors that are from God. According to him, some people have fallen into the devil’s trap because they failed to ask God for direction before taking any step.
The Cleric narrated a story of how his friend left a good employer to a supposed better offer, just to get frustrated in the new offer because what he thought was better was camouflage. “Not every open door is God’s door, many are traps in disguise. Not all that glitters is gold. One wrong step can alter the course of your life. Do not fall a victim”.
Speaking further, the Cleric said you should always ask the Lord whether to stand still or to move forward.
