“Some pastors stood against him because he chose not to sell anointing oil, water and handkerchief” – Apostle Johnson Suleman reveals why

The Nigerian Televangelist and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman has lamented about how clergymen exploited people, financially.

He said ministry is not about money. “I can’t stand Pastors who are not givers. Stingy pastors are witches. I’m telling the truth. If you see a stingy pastor, he is a wizard. Any pastors that doesn’t give, turn me off. They keep collecting from their members without giving. I believe in giving. If you are not a mam who sow seeds, you can’t succeed. So, I believe in giving but ministry is not about money. How can a pastor take 25 offerings in one service? What is your problem? Are you a herbalist? What’s going on?,” Apostle Suleman said?

According to the clergyman, one of his sons in ministry invited him to his Church and he took nine offerings right in his presence. Apostle Suleman said he rebuked him straight away and forbid such unscriptural practices. He also said it is wrong for people to pay consultation fees before they see a man of God.

He further added that the money given in Church is supposed to be used to run the church and not the pastors. “Money that are given in Church is supposed to be used to run the Church and not run the pastors. If you are a pastor and you think the money given in Church is what will help you to survive, you will be poor. When you are honest, people are not stupid, they can see your sincerity and once they noticed your transparency, don’t ask, they will give. Some pastors are even collecting consultation fees from members. Let’s stop taking advantage of the people of God and stop the gimmicks,” Apostle Suleman said.

Just be honest, people are not stupid. This gimmicks, games and manipulations, oh Lord, I’m tired! There is nothing pastors don’t sell these days. They sell handkerchief, sell water, sell anointing oil and the most painful part is, people will still buy it. This is why they hate me. They don’t like me because I don’t sell things. I told them, I’m not a marketer, I’m not a trader, I communicate the word of God and I’m not poor,” Apostle Suleman said.
