Bishop David Oyedepo has lamented that in spite of all that God is doing in the church, some people still don’t believe.
He said this during the Covenant Hour Of Prayer meeting today. He said that these people have allowed themselves to be taken by an evil heart of unbelief, and this will prevent them from receiving anything from God.
“These kind of people will hear a testimony and say ‘The reason that man got that job is because he knows somebody’ These things are real,” the Bishop said.
While it is good to intelligently research whatever you hear without swallowing everything you hear, especially when it concerns spiritual matters, a skeptical person will have a hard time receiving anything from God.
The Bible says that you need to have faith to be able to please God; so if you disbelieve whatever testimony you hear, how will you show the faith that will please God and get him to step into your situation?
The Holy Spirit is inside you as a Christian, therefore you have the ability to discern truth from error, and this applies to testimonies as well. You can tell, by the Holy Spirit, whether a testimony is false or true. Ask him for help to believe the truth. Be blessed.
