Spiritual Tongues Are True Languages, You Do Not Need To Learn It- Pastor Kumuyi

Pastor W.F Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Life Bible Church, spoke about the Declarative Gifts: Understanding and Usefulness. He discussed the significance of the Tongues and Interpretation Gifts, as well as the reality that Spiritual tongues are real languages. He read from Acts 2:6 in the Bible, which reads

“Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language”

According to the man of God, spiritual tongues, on the other hand, are authentic languages. Although it is not the speaker’s native tongue, it is frequently accurate. It isn’t always one word, and it isn’t always a babaric thing that no one understands anywhere. He says that spiritual tongues are a group of languages that the Lord provided to the early apostles through the Holy Spirit. This explains why, on Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit fell on the early apostles, a big number of people from many regions recognized one other’s languages.

The man of God then went on to say that the gift of tongues is not something that can be learnt or taught. Peter didn’t show them how to do it; neither did he ordered them to talk in their original dialects or repeat what he said over and over until they learnt it. It is usually the Holy Spirit who performs it. They glorified God by speaking in tongues, even though they didn’t understand what they were saying.

Finally, because God had promised it, the early apostles received the Holy Spirit in the same way. We’ll be able to obtain ours just as they do. To pledge our lives to Christ, we must take the appropriate steps. He said we could ask for anything we wanted and he would give it to us. As a result, you will certainly receive anything you ask for in confidence.
