Reno Omokri has advised people to sacrifice their first conscious minutes to God. He revealed that you may stray from God if you fail to give him your time.
Reno noted that one of the reasons people seem not to have time for God is as a result of their love for their smartphones. He called on Christians to avoid the mistake of loving their smartphones more than they love God.
He noted that it is very disastrous to fall into the temptation of not seeking God first. Therefore it is of paramount importance to give God the first place in all things. That means that any time you wake up from sleep the next thing to do is to seek the face of God before touching your smartphones.
“When you wake each day, stay away from your phone, or you will stray away from your God. Sacrifice your first conscious minutes to God every day and God will make a conscious effort to surround you with favor all day so you don’t labor in rigor.”
Reno concluded by saying, “God did not ask us to seek Him only. He asked us to seek Him first. You can still check your smartphone and access your social media profiles when you wake up. Just pray first. Just study Scripture first. When you start your day with God, you will end your day with good!”
