The Catholic Priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, Reverend Fr. Oluoma Chinenye John has told his members not to pray for wealth because God doesn’t give wealth. He also shared his reasons as he revealed what believers should pray for.
According to Rev. Fr. Oluoma from the video posted on his verified Facebook handle an hour ago: “The reason you should not make wealth a vision or a goal in your life is because God does not give people wealth. Wealth is the direct result of people’s patronage of either the goods or services you provided. So God does not bless anybody with wealth. Deuteronomy 8 said it all.
“Therefore, what does God give? Any good thing you are enjoying in this life, it is God that gave you the Grace and Capacity to have it. What God gives is Grace and Capacity. So when you are praying, pray for these two things. Pray to God to bless the works of your hand.
“Many people think I am a revolutionary by saying this. Please let the truth be the truth, and let the lie be the lie. Don’t be deceived by those people who say there is miracle of instant wealth”.
