The Nigerian Televangelist, Pastor Dr. Abel Damina who is the Founder and General Overseer of Abel Damina Ministries in a video on YouTube minutes ago, gave reasons why he feels Believers should not share testimonies in the church.
According to the pastor, if the devil can heal and make people rich, then sharing testimonies in the church is not necessary. We learnt from the video that testimonies should be shared only with unbelievers to motivate them and not in the church where the Saints are gathered.
Dr. Abel Damina: “Someone said Dr. Damina doesn’t talk about the devil. That is not the good news, Jesus is the good news. We preach not of ourselves but Christ who was crucified. And when that gospel is preached, the Spirit of God moves into operation because the Lord was working with them and confirming His Word.
“So it is the Word that the Spirit of God will confirm, not your testimonies or your stories. Your tears are not a confirmation of His Word. Even the devil heals, so how will you know the testimony is from God? So testimonies are not evident of God’s Word. It is the quality of God’s Word available that the Spirit of God goes after to confirm in the heart and lives of those that are listening”.
