According to the cleric, in a situation whereby a woman has defiantly failed to respect her husband as the head of the house, a lot would not go well with such a marriage. In his words the cleric has sarcastically mimicked the way some so-called learned women do claim that they too are eligible controllers of their marriages hence, they are also co-heads of the home alongside their husbands.
No way would a marriage work in such a condition. Being submissive to a man is not stupidity. It is a sign that you are fulfilling and following the instructions of God regarding marriage. Submission of a woman to her husband is not weakness, it is the fulfilment of the instructions of God. For every marriage that is not following the divine instructions of headship and control has attributed to a man, such a marriage would lead to a divorce.
It is the major reason why there are a lot of divorces in the world today. The instructions of God as regards the position of both spouses are defiantly and intentionally left unfulfilled. Women must learn to be humble enough to be submissive under their husbands. The high rate of divorce used to apply only to the western world but unfortunately, Africa is now having their fair share of the unfortunate lifestyle.
