Summary of Pastor Kumuyi’s Message As He Storms Abeokuta

Pastor kumuyi had his first interactive church service since the resumption of church activities in The south western area of Nigeria that was hit by Cohvid-19. On previous Sunday Services only the pastor would minister without a congregation to respond directly but today Pastor kumuyi resumed his normal church service when he went to Abeokuta the capital of Ogun state which neighbors Lagos.

The Pastor spoke on the Topic titled “Living Purposeful and Courageous In A Perverse And Corrupt World”. His message was based on the 25th-30th chapters of the Book of the Psalms where the psalmist David prayed to God for deliverance, protection and healing while on his part, gave thanks to God in return. Pastor kumuyi explained that the main purpose of living was to praise God.

Using David as his example, he acknowledged that the believers should imitate the psalmist because King David displayed an Unconquerable spirit of Faith in God’s covenant with him. The covenant of God standeth sure and he is faithful therefore as Christians we should have faith and trust in God.

Next he spoke on the the Uncommon strength of faith and courage where he explained the power possessed in a Christian who has faith in God. He said that faith in God makes us stronger and more courageous to live purposeful in this present world, adding that faith also builds confidence.

Like David, Believers should live a life of unconditional service with consecration to God which is also a purpose of the creation of man.
