While preaching to his members in the South Africa Conference (Morning Session), the General Overseer of Power City International Church, Pastor Abel Damina, said any Pastor who asks you to give him money, promising that God will multiply it and make you rich is a thief.
He said the teaching that God multiplies people’s money is fraud and it makes one greedy. Such a promise is not in the Bible, he continued. He said millionaires will not listen to such preaching because they don’t need wealth. He added that God did not send preachers to make Christians rich; He sent them to save them.
In the video, the cleric said, “Any Pastor that says you should give him money so God will multiply it is a thief. Listen to me, such a message is a fraud of the highest order, they are stealing from you. That kind of teaching will make you greedy and millionaires won’t listen to it. God called preachers to save souls, not to make people rich”.
