Thailand’s Daycare Massacre Leaves 34 Dead, Including 23 Children

In a daycare massacre in Thailand, 34 people were killed, including 23 children.

Thirty-four people, including 23 children, were killed on Thursday when a former police officer opened fire at a childcare facility in Uthai Sawan.

Panya Kamrab, a former police officer, was sacked last year due to drug suspicions, according to CNN.

According to Reuters’ reporting, Kamrab showed up at the Child Development Center in the Uthaisawan Na Klang district of the Nong Bua Lamphu province about midday, shot and murdered four to five school administrators, and then forced his way into a closed room where children were sleeping. He then began stabbing several of the kids and some of the instructors, including a pregnant teacher.

Kamrab allegedly spent the morning in court on narcotics charges and then picked up his kid from daycare. His child’s disappearance set out a violent rage in him.

Police spokesman Paisal Luesomboon stated, “He began shooting, slicing, murdering children at the Uthai Sawan childcare center.”

“No one wants to see such a terrible event. There was a terrifying vibe the moment I walked through the door “Reuters quoted Piyalak Kingkaew, a first responder and emergency worker.

Even though we’ve gone through this previously, the fact that these children were affected makes it much more frightening.

Police said Kamrab attacked with a knife and a lawfully bought 9 mm handgun.

According to CNN’s reporting, Kamrab massacred scores of people at the daycare before fleeing the scene and shooting his wife and 2-year-old stepson before turning the pistol on himself.

“He exited the vehicle and proceeded to fire down or stab anybody he came into contact with on his way home. We had a perimeter around his residence and discovered that he had committed himself there “Reporters heard this from Damrongsak Kittiprapas.

This murdering spree is among the worst in recent history when it comes to the number of children killed.

In order to meet with the relatives of the victims, Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will go to the province on Friday.
