The mind of a man is the basic tool through which the ideas and the expected knowledge about life are established. It is through this mind that the exact IQ of a man is discovered and put to good use. But sometimes, the way the mind is being used is appalling. A sermon delivered by Pastor David Ibiyeomie of the Salvation Ministry. The cleric reiterated the several things that happen in the body of Christ in the area of misconceptions in the case of personal habits of stupidity and behaviour for demonic activities or attacks.
The cleric stresses the fact that the biggest challenge being experienced in the body of Christ is not the devil, but stupidity. People are very fast to blame the devil on everything whereas, they are to blame for several of their misfortunes. God has established a mind of wisdom and understanding in believers as when they gave their lives to Jesus Christ. This same mind was it that Jesus Christ possessed. The same mind is expected to be in all believers. A believer who has the mind of Christ does not steal, neither would such a person cheat in an examination.
According to Church Gist, Pastor David Ibiyeomie reiterates the fact that every converted individual must have the mind of Christ. The Bible has it that, the Lord Jesus Christ grew up having the favour of God and man. Believers must be developed in knowledge and wisdom. Believers who are also called by the name of God must also have the mind of God and be sound IQ wise. A believer who behaves stupidly has rubbished the essence of the cause of redemption. The new birth experience upgrades all believers to the class and category of the Lord Jesus Christ.
So many people blame virtually everything for their mistakes. Instead of them discovering their areas of stupidity, they blame the economy, the situation of things around them, and they even blame their foolishness but without attributing it to themselves. Believers must work on themselves and ensure the mind of God in Christ Jesus is established in their lives.
