The intensity of the battle you face allows you to see God’s might, says Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo.
Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, General Overseer of the Kingsway International Christian Centre, shared a message with the public in a recent Facebook post.
During his speech, he stated, “The size of the battle you face brings an opportunity to experience a corresponding measure of God’s miraculous power; the larger the battle, the greater the breakthrough, if you hold on!”
He then said “Trials make me depend on God. God uses trials to turn my dependence fully on him. He wants me to cling to him and find peace in him alone. When we face challenges to our faith, when our efforts to serve the Lord engender opposition, we can be inspired by Paul‘s example to press on. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
Finally, she stated, “We must rest in God’s promises; Satan has been defeated, and triumph is ours!” “No testing has befallen you that is not common to everyone.” God is trustworthy, and He will not test you beyond your power, but He will also offer a way out so that you can bear it, according to 1 Corinthians 10:13.
