What Do We Understand About the End Times?
The article “10 Things Christians Should Know About the End Times” is one of the most popular articles of the week.
No matter what view of the Bible you believe in specifics surrounding the End Times and the rapture, the author said that there are several things the Bible is absolutely clear about. In her piece, she lists 10 of them, beginning with the most direct directive Jesus gave to his followers when they inquired about the end of the world:
She said, “We need to take care of our father’s business.” “That means not sitting on our pretentious piety, waiting for the trumpet to sound and rescuing from the presence of evil, but praying in Jesus’ name that He would change men’s hearts and sharing the truth of Jesus Christ’s gospel.”
The “unholy trinity” of the Antichrist, the false prophet, and Satan himself is one of the topics covered in the piece that I myself hadn’t given much thought to previously. The author also describes the “two witnesses” who will arrive and share the message with those who have been left behind since “He is not willing that any should perish” even in these end times (2 Peter 3:9).
But the Bible tells us that judgment will undoubtedly occur. I have posted two End Times articles that go into further detail regarding this judgment. How Should Christians React to End-Times Prophecy? Don’t get scared
If you believe in Christ and have entrusted him with the task of delivering you from this sin’s repercussions (which I pray you have! You don’t need to be alarmed by these End Times truths (if you haven’t already, learn more about them here.
Living a watchful life in the present is a reaction that comes to mind as a Christian who is unafraid. Or, as it says in Ephesians 6:10–12:
“Trust in the Lord and his tremendous might, and be strong. Put on all of God’s protection so that you can resist the devil’s tricks. It is important to remember that since the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the celestial realms are what we are fighting against, not flesh and blood, it is important to remember this.
I found a recent post on iBelieve.com inspiring and relevant for adults as well. It discusses how to educate teens about donning the whole armor of God. The author of the post serves as a reminder to Christians of the might of God’s word, the sword of the Spirit, which “may be wielded both defensibly and offensively.” A little information for you:
The author said that equipping our adolescents with knowledge of God’s Word helps them to employ the sword of the Spirit defensively to slay any arguments their peers may make to discredit our children’s faith. Acts 14:22 says, “Knowledge of Scripture also allows our youth to use this sword of the Spirit offensively by proclaiming the Bible’s truth to strengthen and encourage Christians to stay true to the faith.”
How Should Christians React to End-Times Prophecy? 2. Share the Good News of Jesus Christ
Living in the truth that we know is crucial for Christians. Because it was made known to us in the Bible and in the Word made flesh, Jesus Christ, we are aware of God’s love and redemption. Moreover, someone was kind enough to inform us. Don’t we really need to know that truth? Without it, we were helpless, weren’t we? The world around us now also requires it.
According to a recent poll conducted in the United Kingdom, 89% (wow) of people aged 16 to 29 “think life has no purpose or value,” according to ChristianHeadlines.com. Ken Ham, who started and runs Answers in Genesis, had these things to say about the article’s sad conclusions:
When we comprehend and accept God’s Word, Ham said in an online essay, “we will know the difference between the truth and falsehoods, and we will not be misled.” Where do purpose and meaning originate from? It comes from our Creator!
A recent article examines Psalm 139 in order to examine the intrinsic purpose of mankind. The author informs us in “What Does Psalm 139 Mean by “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made”? :
He said, “Christians are the Lord’s inheritance, the apple of His eye (Deuteronomy 32:10). According to 1 Peter 1:13-25, “this fact should prompt those who have been made pure by the Lord and whose sins have been forgiven because of Jesus’ completed and adequate work to live righteously before the Lord today. So, as God’s people, let’s start pointing people to Jesus, who is Wonderful and Fully Righteous and who now gives His people the Holy Spirit so they can tell others that they can be saved only through Christ.
