The Experience 15 Leverages Technology, Goes Global

Friday night saw people from across Africa and the world connecting to the 15th edition of The Experience, the world’s largest gospel concert.

Unlike previous editions, which took place at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, The Experience ’15 Global was held virtually following COVID-19 safety protocols.

This measure enabled anyone across the world to be part of the concert from dusk till dawn by tuning into the various digital platforms from which the concert streamed, regardless of their locations.

Envisioned by Pastor Paul Adefarasin of House On The Rock since 2006, The Experience has served as an uplifting platform where all can raise their hearts, hands, and voices together as one in unconstrained praise to God, notwithstanding their creed, denomination, language, or tribe.

“I am elated that we are going to be worshipping the King of Glory traversing the globe in diverse tongues, towns and talents, various regions, hues and colours of skin and also, in a virtual atmosphere. The Experience 15 provided a virtual platform to unify the global church and establish God’s Kingdom here on earth,” Adefarasin said.

Despite the pandemic restrictions, The Experience leveraged technology to create its first exclusively virtual and global concert and live-streamed around the world. This edition was truly worshiped like had never been seen before, as people from across the world were able to worship God at the same time from the comfort of their homes.
