Dubbed Africa’s largest gospel music event, The Experience 2022 is here!

Following its birth in 2006, the annual mega-gospel music event hosted by Paul Adefarasin, lead pastor of House on the Rock Church, has become one of the major highlights of every gospel music year and a highly anticipated encounter with God for many.

What’s New

The Experience returns to its usual TBS venue for its 17th (2022) edition.

Having taken a virtual approach in 2020 & 2021 due to COVID-19 precautions and safety measures effected during the pandemic, The Experience Concert is back for physical attendance at its signature venue, Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

This was made known by the organizers, HOTR (House on the Rock) earlier in October via The Experience’s official social media pages.

Following the exciting announcement, Anticipation for this year’s edition has been heightened among thousands of worshippers, gospel music lovers, and more.

Date & Time

The Experience has always been held every first Friday in December and this year’s edition falls on the 2nd of the month. Also, Time is 7 pm (WAT) till dawn.

Themed

The theme for this The Experience 17 has been revealed as “JESUS: The Exceptional One”.

Ministers/Performers

The Experience stage so far has been graced by well-celebrated and widely-renowned gospel music ministers around the globe. Memories from last year’s edition still linger with powerful ministrations and performers from the likes of Dunsin Oyekan, Nathaniel Bassey, Eben, Mercy Chinwo, Don Moen, Travis Greene, Nokwe the poet, and many others.

This year’s edition will feature widely-renowned American gospel singers Don Moen, Donnie McClurkin, Travis Greene, Chandler Moore, and Phil Thompson. Also ministering, are Nigeria’s own and highly celebrated gospel ministers; Nathaniel Bassey, Sinach, Moses Bliss, Mercy Chinwo, Tope Alabi, Mr M & Revelation, Eben, and more.
