Tanzania ‘s president is a hero no matter what someone says, I recognize that man spreads as the only president who has exercised faith in God in the midst of Coronavirus. Also when the media tried to thwart his faith by claiming that Coronavirus has infected many people in Tanzania, the man remains unperturbed as he exercises his full confidence in God. He is the replica of Shedrack, Meshack and Abednego who during their trial in Babylon exercised complete faith in God. In years to come, this president, John Magufuli, will be remembered as the president who used God to fight a pandemic and win. He deserves to be documented. He is the only one of both Christian and Islamic leaders who has shared belief in God.
When he proclaimed a national fasting, several people tried to stop him, refusing to close places of worship. Countries that closed places of worship and declined to announce fasting nationwide have suffered more deaths than Tanzania. He did as the Biblical King of Nineveh did in the prophet Jonah ‘s book and believe me, God has already recognized him as one of the heroes of faith. I wish I could have his form of confidence even though he expressed his full devotion to God under pressure.
