There was once a young prophet somewhere around Ijoko-Agbado area of Ogun state. This man really has an uncommon gift of prophecy. With his eyes close or lying on the bed, he could see people walking about and the problem following them about. This young prophet was still undergoing training under a senior prophet (founder of his church).
The young prophet was later given a revelation to start his own ministry. The young man met with the senior prophet and explain what he got from the Lord. The senior prophet said well, since you are going, I can’t stop you – meet me very early tomorrow morning – make sure I am the first person you greet in the morning. And then bring a bottle half-filled with water, because, I am going to transfer power into your life.
The next day, the young man called his best friend to accompany him to their pastor’s house. When they got to the house, he went inside while his friend waited for him outside the gate. He greeted his pastor as he collected the half-filled water from him and take it inside where he (the senior prophet) added another half to it – making it full water.
After praying for some time, the senior prophet instructed the young man on how to use the special water he had prepared. He said as soon as you leave this place, do not look back nor greet anyone, go straight to your bathroom without removing your clothes, pour the whole content of the bottle upon your head and there after pray with your wet clothes until the water dries up and with that – the promised power will come.
The young prophet return to his house and did just as the prophet instructed him. But immediately he finished pouring the water on his head, he ran mad. He started destroying things, picking anything he could find and hitting anybody that comes his way. The neighbors around quickly hold him down and chained him to a tree so he couldn’t cause more havoc. He remained in this condition until one day!!!
Another prophet from another town was just passing through that side with his car. He recognize the mad man and since him too was a prophet, he saw the mad man gift and what he was supposed to be. He met with his family and told them to loose him. The people around where afraid. They turn to the prophet and said, man of God, if we loose him now he will start destroying things even you yourself will not stand when it happens.
The prophet still repeat his words that loose him and let me take care of him. Since he was a man of God, the people loose him after the prophet has prayed for him. The man of God then took him home with him (i.e the prayer mountain at Idi Aparun ) in Ogun state.
He remained on that mountain, though a mad man yet his prophetic gift was still intact. He was even conducting deliverance for people on that mountain. That was was where a prophet (my own pastor that shared the story with me) went this same mountain with a lady to pray. The lady was having some challenges in her home – her husband was about to chase her away and bring in another woman into the house.
The two of them stole away from the lady’s house because her husband must not know due to the situation of things in her house. As the prophet and the woman were praying, the mad man just rush to the prophet with pure water in his hand. He said, you are a prophet! Pray inside this water for me. The prophet refused at first because he was scared too. When the mad man repeats the word again, the prophet stretched out his hand – merely closing his eyes and prayed on the water.
The mad man then opened the water and tell the woman to stretch her feet forward (they were both sitting on a chair) so he could pour the water on it. The woman not knowing what to do, looked at the prophet to give her a go ahead. The prophet too was confused not knowing how to respond to this kind of situation looked away from her.
The mad man repeat his words 3 times, but the woman still fold her leg under the chair. OK! The mad man said, he then poured the water in front of the woman where she will likely step her feet. The mad man said- whether you like it or not you will still step your feet on this water. Then he went away. The woman stood up and try to dodge the water, but he still put her feet in it.
After the prayer of that day, they return to their homes. The next day, the prophet go back to pray on the same mountain. As he was praying, he saw the mad man coming towards him. Oh!!!!!!! Have they sent this man to monitor me here? – said the prophet. As the mad man approached him, he started shouting. Please, prophet!!! I know it’s you that came here with a lady yesterday.
He began to explain some things to the prophet. When the two of you were praying, I saw fire burning in that woman’s feet. The prophet became surprised – how did he know this (because that was what led them to pray on the mountain).
The mad man continue…. Because of her, I used my own money to buy pure water and also seeing you as a prophet I asked you to pray on the water. Assuming you do not pray on that water, something that is completely out of your control will happen in your life. My purpose of bringing the water was for me to quench the fiery fire burning on that woman’s feet, but she refused.
I only pour the water on the floor for a witness unto her. I saw her afar (through vision) putting her legs into the water but believe me, that one did not work. She returned home with fire in her leg. The prophet was speechless and disappointed in himself. That was how the battle prevailed over the woman. That very week, her husband drove her away from the house and another woman take over her space.
LESSONS FROM THE STORY
1. Be careful in your dealings with prophet: not everyone who can see visions or perform miracles, really wants your progress.
2. Be careful of what you reveal to your friends. Something very personal and important should not be disclose to anybody until it has been accomplished
3. Do not despise what a mad man/woman tells you, you don’t see or hear what they see/hear.
4. Faith is the number one thing in receiving anything from God. Your pastor/guidance will not always be there when you need an answer to some very important decision in life.
5. Pray daily that God will give you the spirit of discernment, to know who is who, so you don’t fall into the hands of the enemy that come in form of friends/family/relatives/pastors/guidance etc.
