The Excellent Work That Odunayo’s Glory Did at MFM Lekki

Odunayo Adekuoroye, a three-time gold medalist at the Commonwealth Games, and the entire sports department of the ministry deserve the best of support through my father in the Lord, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries General Overseer’s divinely ordained 70-point youth repositioning agenda.

Odunayo’s shoulder injury, which she kept secret on the way to the Olympics, prevented her from winning the gold medal for which she had trained and prayed tirelessly. Nonetheless, with Dr. Olukoya’s help, she was able to persevere and achieve her goals.

The tremendous aches she was experiencing while attempting to use her injured arm were the largest difficulty she faced upon returning from the Olympics. I spoke with various medical professionals and physiotherapists, and they all agreed that surgery was the only long-term option. Odunayo, however, refuses to give in to any of this, and she refuses surgery because she insists that God will eventually cure her. Naturally, I felt she was completely insane, but she was unyielding.

When the doctor and physiotherapist told me Odunayo had stopped coming in for treatment, I remember being furious. I remember calling her in a fit of rage, and her response being that “Baba,” as she calls Dr. Olukoya, had anointed her with oil, and so she would not be returning to the doctors for the scheduled surgery. To cut a long tale short, Odunayo was able to return to wrestling pain-free.
She was restored by the wonderful God we worship, as shown by her third gold medal at the most recent Commonwealth Games.

I invited her to the MFM International headquarters church after she returned from the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham so that she could share her story, sing, and dance for Dr. Olukoya. Her greatest joy is singing hymns of praise to the Lord. This magnificent event occurred on Sunday, August 14, 2022. While she was giving her speech, I suggested we go to the regional headquarters of MFM in Lekki to convey her story.

She ran into the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu, and his wife at MFM Lekki, and the governor invited her to meet him on Tuesday. This was not deliberate but rather a result of providential alignment.

Once a sad and broken figure, 2020 has now won God’s favor, and he thinks it’s time to bring back her former glory.

I can’t believe I forgot to add that on Monday she visited the offices of Halogen, a business that will be sponsoring her while she competes in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Odunayo believes in a God who is active in the world today, and it is this God who put her in touch with Dr. Olukoya, who sees to all of her educational and professional needs.
One explanation is that God is in charge.
