The parents of some students at the Bethel Baptist high school have been left heartbroken after some unknown gunmen subdued the school’s security men and kidnapped the students.
About 140 children belonging to a family have been abducted at night in Kano State, while they were in their boarding school.
The gunmen kidnapped 140 students while 25 other students escaped. The kidnappers broke the fence of the school and passed through the hole to take away the students.
The father of one of the students who came to the boarding school to check his child after the incident, went to the fence of the school which the kidnappers broke as an escape route.
He went to the exit hole, knelt, and began to pray with tears flowing down his face. He was seen at the spot where the fence was broken when he was making some utterances that appeared like prayer.
At the exit hole, he was also pointing his finger to the hole on the fence as he was seen talking while he was still on his knees. He was praying for his child to be released.
It has not been easy for the parents of the school children that were abducted. After investing their money, time, and efforts to cater for their children, they were kidnapped.
