The Reason Why You Should Stop Believing In Generational Curse – Pastor Abel Damina Reveals

Nigerian controversial pastor, Dr Abel Damina, General Overseer of Power City International, vehemently opposes the idea of people believing in generational courses and ancestral problems. He told his congregation to discard such an idea because it was baseless and unscriptural.

He made the assertion In the video uploaded to his official Facebook account a few minutes ago, as he continues with his teaching series ” The misunderstood God: finding God in the midst of evil, part 3.” He convinces his congregation and his viewers never to allow people to play on their insensibility or to make caricatures of them into believing that there is anything called generational curses and ancestral covenants.

He contends that such an idea is a mutus, a myth and that it does not exist. He read John 9:1-3, where Jesus saw a man who was blind from birth and people were asking Jesus to verify if he was the one that sinned or his parent, and Jesus responded that neither him nor his parent sinned. Pastor Damina said that is what people do, tracing one’s problem to a generational or ancestral covenant.

He concludes that people don’t go through tough times because they sin or go through rough times because they are wicked. He said these things are common to man; that means it happens to the righteous and the wicked.
