We are in the last days according to the Bible verse that says “For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect — if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time.”
So many people are desperately in need of signs and wonders, while some want to know what the future holds for them, in the process of searching they fall into the hands of false prophets and teachers.
Due to so many problems that is in the world, people desperately need solutions and sometimes friends will tell them that they know a place to get solutions without knowing whether the person they are going to meet is a man of God or the man of gods.
Also some pastors because of poverty and lack of jobs, makes them to enter into the ministry, although, some actually had the calling of God, but because of lack of money and there are a lot of things to do, but for the pursuit of money, they will start by performing fake miracles to dupe the members for instance when an individual need solution to his/her problem by all means, that is the avenue to fall victims of their trap.
And when his/her comes to such church and the pastor whom was desperately in need of money and no avail, would start by seeing fake visions and before you know he would demand for some amounts of money to satisfy their financial problem, before he can conduct deliverance for you.
How can we recognize them? “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles? “
One of the ways to recognize them is that, they must demand for reward before conducting deliverance or the so called miracles. During the time of Jesus Christ did He asked for rewards for performing any miracles or conducting deliverance for those that were oppressed of the devils?
What is the purpose of performing miracles if not for glorifying God? If someone is using the name of God to do evil in the name of miracle it cannot please God that means they are glorifying the devil. False prophets and teachers add and subtract from the scripture, and tell their congregation to”do as they said but not as they do” they deny important doctrines of the Bible.
They emphasize that nobody can be perfect, they cannot finish preaching one message without telling their members that “we are all sinners” that nobody can be righteous, they defile themselves and involve in all forms of atrocities, which ordinarilaay could be impossible to believe.
