The Story of How Gospel Singer, Tope Alabi Came Close To Becoming A Reverend Sister

Tope Alabi’s late mother wanted her to be a revered sister not because she was a catholic, but because a prophet saw a revelation that her daughter would become a minister of God.

As a devout Catholic, late Tope Alabi’s mother believed that if her daughter became a reverend sister, the prophecy would come true. She wanted to put Tope Alabi in a convent before realizing that it was not what God had in mind for her.

Today, the prophetic revealation about Tope Alabi becoming a minister of God has come true. She is one of Nigeria’s most well-known and respected gospel musicians, with over 2 million Instagram followers.

Tope Alabi has unquestionably dominated Yoruba gospel music with several wonderful songs, awards, and recognitions. Her music, despite being in Yoruba, are heard all over the world. Her songs gives hope to the hopeless, joy to the sad, and reassurance that Jesus is alive!
